I began my career in Illinois as a third grade teacher, which I sustained for six years, and I have been a Reading Specialist for the past eleven years.  Recently, my family and I moved to Texas and I am very pleased to have joined the staff at Forest Path Academy. I am excited to work with the students of Forest Path Academy and share my teaching knowledge and expertise in reading/literacy here in Texas, while continuing to grow as an educator. Beyond teaching, I enjoy spending time with my mother, husband, eight-year old daughter and our golden-doodle, Buddy.  I love theater, movies, music, books, reading, baseball, football and crafting.
